About Me

Growing up, I have always struggled with my body image. I simply love food. After having kids, I didn’t know how to properly lose the extra baby weight. I was not happy with the way I looked or felt. About 4 years ago, I hired a personal trainer and nutritionist to help me better understand the importance of energy balance. This includes moving your body to strengthen it and fueling it with the proper nutrients in order to achieve your goals. Trying to change bad habits such as overeating, snacking, drinking, and eating out was challenging, but not impossible. I was doing things out of my comfort zone and saw very little progress in the beginning. The first 3 months were difficult, but I was determined and giving up was not an option. It is amazing when you make yourself a priority and take the time to figure out and understand what works for your body. Proper nutrition and exercise are crucial in order to maintain long-term weight loss. It took me one year to reach my goal, however, I accomplished it and have been able to maintain it for over 3 years.

Eating healthy and going to the gym are no longer chores, it’s my lifestyle. My weight loss journey has not only changed me physically, but mentally as well. It sparked a fire within me to pursue a career in fitness and culinary arts. Finally, in my mid 30s I discovered my true passion in life.

This was the catalyst and I am determined to make my dream into a reality. I’m an Orange Coast College alumni with a degree in Culinary Arts. I studied under professionally trained chefs with years of experience and endlessly refined my skills in order to become the chef I am today. I absolutely love what I do and I want to share my love for food with you. I create my food with the intention of a healthy meal without sacrificing flavor. Whether it’s for your fitness goals, don’t have time or like to cook, I’m here for you. Each meal is not only nutritious; it is always prepped with love.

With love,
Chef Carol Garnier
